Blade Friction Clutch
MG 460 motor graders are equipped with an optional blade clutch, which is an alternative to the shear pin mechanism. When an excessive external load is applied to the blade, the MG 460 friction clutch slips to completely protect the blade from destructive overload. It should be noted that the blade torque can be set for optimal performance, contributing to higher working efficiency.
The load-sensing closed-center hydraulic control system contains a variable displacement piston pump that provides the required flow and pressure for less power consumption. Balanced flow puts less load on the engine, while ensuring synchronous operation of functions.
